Tasting notes
Aroma
Round and lively on the nose. Medicinal (castor oil, sinapism), it is also fruity (pear, white currant) and salty. Spicy (clove, nutmeg), it rises to become empyreumatic (thuja, essential oil) and hyper-vanillailla. Delicate citrus fruits (tangerine, kumquat) provide a lovely aromatic punctuation.
Taste
Heady, powerful mouthfeel. At first, it appears to be a carbon copy of the nose. Then, with serenity and greed, it gradually expresses its fruity (apricot, peach, melon) and pastry (crème brûlée, madeleine) character.
Finish: long and fatty. Fruity tannins (peach skin, citrus zest), but also earthy (gentian root). Notes of tuberose, clove and dahlia follow. The aftertaste is spicy, almost spicy (Cayenne). The empty glass is divinely chocolaty.
