Citadelle is the first gin to be distilled in Charentais copper stills, a traditional French technique. Its progressive infusion method is also unprecedented: each of the 19 aromatics in the recipe is added at different times during a 4-day maceration, while the alcohol content is gradually reduced.

Tasting notes
Aroma
Fine aromas of fresh flowers are brought to the fore by hints of citrus. Then come more intense, herbaceous notes of juniper and anise, lifted by the spicy, gourmand edge of cinnamon.
Taste
The attack is characterized by juniper, Citadelle Original’s true signature. It then gives way to a lovely citrus fragrance. The finish is spicier, with hints of pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon.
